Greetings Brethren! The year draws to a close as we begin the fall/winter holidays; we've elected the officers for the next year (and a really good set I might add) and there's not a lot more to say except to offer my deepest thanks to the officers and Brethren for the help, friendship and patience I have benefited from during my year in the East. I will also make my usual (and final) request for the Brethren to attend the December 5th Stated Meeting, and don't forget the installation of the 2017 Officers on Sunday, Dec. 11th @ 2pm.
Thank you, Brothers; it has been an honor and a privilege I will never forget.

December already (!) and the New Year looms just over the horizon. As we head into the holiday season I re-emphasize my postings of the past reminding us that charity is one of the key objectives of Masonry.
WBS has instructed us to keep this short so… It has been my honor to serve as your Senior Warden and I thank you again for your faith in electing me as your new Master of the lodge. As such please let me know any ideas you may have in bringing up our attendance, fellowship opportunities and visibility in the community. I look forward to an exciting NEW YEAR!!!
On the level, Pat

Brothers, Thank You for your vote of confidence in electing me to the West! I'm looking forward to next year and the new challenges that it will bring and hope that you are too. Let's endeavor to make it our best one yet!
As I mentioned last month, I'm having to travel almost weekly to Holland, MI for work. I also did some Masonic travelling and paid more than one visit to Unity Lodge No. 191 in Holland. They have just celebrated their 150th Anniversary. The Lodge about our size with similar struggles and successes. They do have a very successful CHIPS program and an annual Christmas Tree sale as their primary fund raiser. There are similar opinions to our Lodge about one-day degrees, lodge participation, recycling in the line and other topics that we hold near and dear. In short, I didn't feel that I was in a foreign country. After a short introduction, Unity Lodge treated me as though I was a part of them. It does make being away from home that much easier.
Remember, YOU Are The Lodge, Bring It Back HOME!
