To our newest Entered Apprentice Masons, remember this as it has been said before and will be again, you get out of Masonry what you put into it. So, study hard, as we all look forward to your proficiency in the First Degree. Do you remember the Working Tools of an Entered Apprentice Mason? The twenty four inch gauge and the gavel: which teach us to divide our time wisely while we are building our spiritual conscience, dedicated to the Master Architect of the Universe.
Elections are upon us so keep in mind that the Worshipful Master, Senior, and Junior Wardens are not chosen by seniority but by merit.

Well, Brothers, it's almost November again! It seems that after a nice, long summer the year is in a hurry to get to the holidays and finish up. And, we're finishing up in good form. We have two new Brothers welcomed to the Fraternity in a double Entered Apprentice degree on 10/19/2015; not something we get to do very often. I thank all the Brethren who took part; you were all absolutely spot-on and did the Lodge proud.
And, speaking of the Lodge, we have 2016 Elections coming up and I encourage and implore all members to attend and vote; this is your Lodge, this is an important event and every Brother's input is valued. As always, looking forward to seeing you there.

- Junior Warden - 2015 -
First and foremost, Congratulations to our newest Entered Apprentices, BRs Wael El-Gamal and Selwyn Keane! Having attended several EA degrees this month has caused me to reflect on my own entry into the brotherhood. Freemasonry is “veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols”. When first introduced to the fraternity, the meaning of this eluded me. I now understand this is one of the surest ways by which moral and ethical truths may be taught. It is not only with the brain and mind that the Initiate (and ALL Masons) must take in Freemasonry, but also with the heart.
Mind speaks to mind with the spoken or written words. Heart speaks to heart with words which cannot be written or spoken. These words are symbols; words which mean little to the indifferent, much to the understanding and seeker of wisdom.
We have five senses through which we may learn; the mind also has imagination. Imagination can see further than the eyes can see and hear sounds fainter than the ears. No teachings expressed in language are as easily learned or contain the vastness and depth included as that which is learned via the symbol construed by the imagination and touched by the heart.
Happy Thanksgiving, Brothers! Let us all spend a moment on bended knee with bowed head reflecting on those gifts we are each so thankful for.
Remember, YOU Are The Lodge, Bring It Back HOME!
