Happy Holidays to all; it is good to remember as Brothers that we embrace One Supreme Being, however perceived and worshiped.
- Charles R. Barnes, PM - - Worshipful Master - 2015 -
HAPPY HOLIDAYS! I thank all of the Officers of 2015 and congratulate those that have been elected and selected to serve in 2016. I SEE GREAT THINGS TO COME IN THE NEXT YEAR! WB Jim, WB Henry, WB Steve, and of course, my Father, WB Frank – I thank you for your guidance and support during this year. Please remember those that serve and have served our great country and their families that have had to endure the price of our freedom. And, remember those who have passed on to the Supreme Being, who oversees us all.

- Senior Warden - 2015 -
Here we are, closing another year, getting ready for the holidays and getting used to the fairly brief period here in Arizona when we actually need to find our coats. Officers move up, new Masons are welcomed to the Fraternity and work their way through the Degrees to eventually join that line of officers. Time moves on and moves us along with it. By now I'm sure most have heard of the passing of our Worshipful Brother Don Milligan to the Celestial Lodge; time has moved him from us to new work and new rewards. Let us all pause just a bit and remember a fine man, a fine Mason and Brother. Our Stated Meeting will be December 07, 2015; as usual I look forward to seeing you there; if you have not attended Lodge recently, please feel a special welcome. Many thanks and wishes for a great year and Happy Holidays!

Thanksgiving has come and gone and Christmas and the New Year are just around the corner. Congratulations to BR Wesley Mallory, our newest EA! Thanks to those that helped clean and coat the lodge roof: Brothers Tom, Shayne, George, Henry, and Terry. We had fun and got some work done! With those things being said, my thoughts have turned a lot recently to the loss and pending loss of my brother Masons. Spending a lot of time with my aging mother recently has reminded me of my responsibility to be more mindful of those around me that may be in need. When I talk of need, I’m not necessarily speaking of financial or sustenance, but of the need of companionship and brotherly love. I had the chance to visit a brother in the hospital recently and he spoke of the times over the last several years he had ached for a friendly voice or welcome visit. I felt ashamed that other than one visit and phone call, I hadn’t taken the time to spend time with him. Yes, I have a busy life just like everyone else, and yes he could have reached out more, but really? Is there any justification under the whole canopy of Heaven that I can use for not picking up the phone and spending a few minutes connection with a brother or friend in need? I have to ask myself what core values and priorities am I living my life by? Am I living up to the obligations I made as a Mason? Do my actions (or lack of actions) speak louder than my words? I ask you all to ask those same questions of yourself. I, for one, am committing to make sure I spend more time with my heart and mind open so that I can hear even the silent requests of those around me. Christmas greetings with love to all.
